About SAYC

The San Antonio Youth Chorale is a Christ-centered, multi-cultural, community-based student choir dedicated to excellence, leadership development, and service to others. Founded in 2013 by San Antonio-based YouthCUE, SAYC currently rehearses in Maresh Hall, 15315 Huebner Ave, San Antonio, TX 78248.

The San Antonio Youth Chorale is a community choral project sponsored by YouthCUE.

YouthCUE is the premier student choir resource in North America. Based in San Antonio, Texas, YouthCUE was established in 1990 by Randy Edwards. YouthCUE's mission is to equip, enable and empower student choir directors with the tools and resources they need to develop healthy, vibrant student choirs in the communities they serve. Recognizing and affirming the strong educational and developmental value of choral training, the vision of the San Antonio Youth Chorale is for every student in the San Antonio region to have the opportunity to participate in a healthy, vibrant student choir program during their adolescence.

The mission of the San Antonio Youth Chorale is to make a positive difference in the lives of students and their communities by engaging them cross-culturally in choral experiences and mission projects emphasizing excellence, leadership development, and service to others.
